First Helicopter Landed At Lukla Airport.

Lukla, a charming Sherpa town, is the primary gateway to the Everest region. It holds significant importance for those embarking on the journey to Everest Base Camp. The renowned Tenzing Hillary Airport is located on the outskirts of this village.

Unlike other villages, Lukla boasts a range of modern amenities. With Mt. Kongde (6187m) gracing the northern horizon, Lukla rests at the foot of towering hills. During the Tour Heli to EBC, Lukla serves as the initial landing spot. It allows helicopters to refuel before continuing their journey towards Pheriche.

Second Landing At Pheriche

Pheriche is a quaint town at 4240 meters alongside the tranquil Dudh Koshi River. This Sherpa village serves as a designated drop-off point. The helicopter touches down in Pheriche to disembark three passengers. It then continues its journey to Gorakshep with two remaining passengers.

The helicopter returns to Pheriche to collect the remaining three passengers. We return to Kathmandu following a similar procedure.

Third Landing At The Kalapathhar.

Kalapatthar, at an altitude of 5,555 meters, is the highest point of the Everest Heli trek and tour. This peak is renowned as the best vantage point of the trip. Ascending to the summit of Kalapatthar offers an unrivaled vantage point. A short hike from Gorakshep leads you to this extraordinary viewpoint.
