Annapurna Circuit Trekking Route Vs. Annapurna Base Camp

The Annapurna Circuit Trek begins at Chame, around 5-7 hours of drive from Beshishahar. We start at Chame and continue to Beshishahar, Bhulbhule, and Jagat villages. The route continues through the Marsyangdi River valley, passing through Jagat and Dharapani with Chame and Pisang.

The Besishahar-Manang road has already covered most of the trek. Mountain Biking was also very popular in the later days, especially in Upper Mustang, due to the construction of proper roads. After getting acclimated at Manang for a specific time, we continued scaling our trail to Yak Kharka and hiking to Thorong Phedi.

On your way back from the top, you’ll visit Muktinath Temple, sacred to Hindus and Buddhists. The Muktinath view is also mesmerizing and satisfying in the lower part of the Mustang district.

Then, you’ll continue your trek to Kagbeni, Jomsom, a popular tourist destination that acts as a transit point to Upper Mustang and Muktinath. You can take a flight from Jomsom or use a vehicle to get to Tatopani and continue the trek to Ghorepani Poon Hill and Pokhara.

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek (ABC Trek) starts with a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Then, you create your trek through Ulleri to Ghorepani. Then, you will walk via Tadapani, Chhomrong, Bamboo, and Deurali. Finally, you will reach Annapurna Base Camp.

The morning view of ABC will be one of the most memorable things you’ve ever seen. Then, trekking the same way back, you’ll reach Ulleri to Nayapul, from where you can take your private vehicle home.
