The famous Manaslu Circuit Trekking goes through the Manaslu Conservation Area and reaches the Annapurna Conservation Area.

Manaslu Conservation Area Project

Mt. Manaslu (8156m) lies in the background of the Manaslu Conservation Area, the central attraction in the Manaslu Himalayan trekking region. Manaslu is the 8th highest mountain out of the fourteen mountains over 8000 meters. It is known as the mountain of the spirit. When the Japanese team led by Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu climbed this mountain in 1956 AD, it was also famous as the Japanese Mountain. The Manaslu region is a shelter for various wild animals, including endangered species. Mammal animals like the Snow Leopard, Himalayan Tahr, musk deer, and 30 other species, along with 110 bird species, are found in this area. About 2000 flowering plant species are found here.

Unlike other trekking trails, the Manaslu base camp trekking bears a unique feature of cultural diversities. Ethnic communities with their language, customs, religious practices, and local festivals prevail. The Monasteries and Chorten also prevail in this way. So, this is a beautiful region to explore the Himalayan panoramas, natural scenery, ethnic and cultural affluence in the Nepal Himalayan Everest Trekking area, Upper Mustang trekking area, Langtang trekking area, and different local cultures. At the same time, you are culture touring in Nepal.
