Visa Information for Travel from USA to Nepal 

When traveling to Nepal from the USA, the Nepal government provides two different kinds of visas. One Visa is on arrival at the International Airport and another one is an E-Visa at Tribhuvan International Airport which is situated in the capital city of Nepal (Kathmandu).  Every traveler must bring at least 6 months of a valid passport to get an entrance Visa to the country. However, if travelers want to get a Visa-on-Arrival then they can obtain a visa with certain requirements which are a valid passport, a completed visa application form, and a required fee in US dollars only.

US citizens can fill up an online form from the official Nepal Immigration website before traveling to Nepal. The E-Visa will be approved online so that, citizens from the US will be able to present them upon arrival.

Travel Routes to Be Taken From USA to Nepal

Travelers can take routes according to their preference and suitability to travel from the USA to Nepal by taking transit to different places, however, Tribhuvan International Airport which lies in Kathmandu which is the capital city of Nepal is the only international airport of Nepal.  Therefore, travelers are required to take a flight to Tribhuvan International Airport and they take off from the same Airport. However, some of the transits that many travelers found suitable are through Doha, Dubai, Singapore, India, China, Malaysia, and Bangkok. 

Similarly, travelers can also catch a flight from two countries that share borders with Nepal which are India and China. Mainly, India provides the shortest flight to Kathmandu compared to China. Several airlines from India including Air India, Indigo Air, Spice Jet, and Vistara operate day-to-day flights to Tribhuvan International Airport. Indian flights are convenient terminals for layovers. This reserve has been successful in preserving the wild water buffaloes and research has also shown an increase in the population of inhabitants up to 432.

Nepal Hunting Reserve

A Hunting Reserve is the opposite of a Wildlife Reserve. In the Hunting Reserve, the capture and killing of wild animals by hunters is permitted by the Government of the related country. Information about Restricted Areas of Nepal

Restricted areas are the areas where a special permit is required for entry so that tourism can be controlled and managed along with the preservation of cultural, geopolitical, and ecological significance. Unlike other treks, Individual treks are forbidden in the restricted areas. Restricted areas are highly monitored and regulated by the government of Nepal. Permits to trek in restricted areas can only be obtained from the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu through an authorized trekking agency.

If travelers are interested in trekking to the restricted areas then, they can get a permit from the government-authorized trekking agency including Boundless Adventure.
