Overview of Guerrilla Trekking

Guerrilla trekking explores Nepal’s unique natural landscapes. The route has historical significance as Jalja La, a pass at 3386 m. The Jalja-La Pass trekking trail is a new open trail in Nepal.

It is in the far western region of Nepal. Not many trekkers have gone after trekking in the guerrilla trekking area, a route used by the Maoists during the war in Nepal.

The guerrilla trekking trail passes through the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve and heads towards the villages of Rukum and Rolpa in Nepal. En route, enjoy the scenic vistas of the Dhaulagiri and Manaslu ranges and the unique landscapes of these places.

You also pass through several gorges and pine forests. Contact us for Guerrilla trekking permits, weather, Guerrilla trekking guides, Guerrilla trekking costs, and details of the Itinerary now on WhatsApp at +977-9851033819. We are ready to provide such trekking in 2025 and 2026.

The people of the Guerrilla trekking trail have undergone many hardships during the war, and they are trying to forget the war wounds and trauma through tourism.

Due to their geographical settings, the places we visit are away from the modern world and inventions. Thus, while trekking in Jaljala Pass, you can experience the war memorial firsthand and learn about Nepal’s war activities from 1996 A.D. to 2006 A.D.

En route, we can also enjoy the magnificent vista of the snow-capped mountain ranges like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Gurja Himal (7193m), and Mt. Api Himal, Saipal Himal, Chauri, and Since. The surrounding views from the Jalja-La pass (3386m) are also interesting.

Guerrilla trekking begins from Beni, the district headquarters of Myagdi District. It then passes through Tatopani, the highland meadows of Jaljala Pass, Uttar Ganga River, the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve, Maikot, Taka, Gurjaghat, Gurjakhant, and Niseldhar.

Don’t hesitate to contact Boundless Adventure for further information regarding the trek. We are one of the leading companies that have started the guerrilla trekking route, and we will be more than happy to help.

Essential Information - Guerrilla Trekking

Guerrilla Trekking Information

We are arranging group trekking for the Guerrilla Trekking trip from Kathmandu. At the beginning of the trip, most of the trekking trail is along with the local village and farmer’s rice terrace. However, the trail leads you up to 3386 meters at the Jaljala pass in a remote area of Nepal.

Best Trekking season

The best guerrilla trekking season starts at the beginning of spring and autumn. We are not suggesting a trek to the Monsoon because the Monsoon season is heavy rainy in Nepal.
