Ghorepani Trekking

Ghorepani Poon Hill is in the Annapurna area, which lies at an altitude of 3,210 meters from Sea level. Most of the people are Magar. All of them follow the Gurung and Magar community and culture. Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, and Mt. Nilgiri are the main attraction of the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek. It takes 5 to 7 days to hike from Pokhara and Kathmandu.

Essential Information - Short Treks around Kathmandu

Accommodations in short treks

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal, and Pokhara is a Second touristic area. Similarly, you can get a non-star hotel into five stars hotel. You can choose the hotel you like. But you know in the mountains not many luxury hotels are available. It will be standard accommodation with a Hot shower.

It is called a small tea house. Every client is used to staying at the same tea house during Trekking. But most of the tea houses have warm heating for dining in winter. We provide you with such accommodation during your Trekking in Nepal.

Meals for short Treks

Typically, Boundless Adventure arranges three-star hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Everyone in the hotel will have a vegetarian and non-vegetarian breakfast with cold and hot drinks.

Similarly, you will have three meals daily during the short Trekking around Kathmandu. We will provide a menu, and you can choose your food accordingly. You need to follow the hotel, the dinner and Breakfast will be at your tea house every day.

Drinking water

Usually, you can buy mineral water every 20 minutes and you can have IODINE tables. CHLORINE drops to put into the entire bottle of drinking water to kill all bacteria. These iodine and Chlorine are available in every pharmacy in Nepal.

Best seasons For Short Treks Around Kathmandu

Nepal is the geography between India and China. The climate is pretty similar to theirs. However, We have our best trekking seasons every time of the year. The best trekking season starts from the beginning of March to the end of June and restarts again from September to December.

We don’t have much trekking area except in the upper Mustang during the Monsoon seasons. However, we are not operating any trekking during the winter seasons.

TIMS and Permit Require

TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) and Permits are necessary for legal trekkers. While you book the Short treks around Kathmandu, We require a copy of your passport and one photo to make the permits. However, the original passport is better for taking to the Annapurna conservation area permits and TIMS.

Trekking equipment
