Best Season to Tour

Selecting the perfect season for exploring Nepal is the first thing any traveller does while planning to visit Nepal. The best seasons to tour in the Manang region are during the spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November). Both of these seasons are the best, offering stunning views of the Himalayas, diverse landscapes, and unique flora and fauna of the Annapurna region.

Spring (March-May)

The spring season is best for jeep tours or trekking in Manang and other regions. During this season, the temperature is mild, and the weather is comfortable. After the bloom of rhododendrons and other wild flowers, the whole environment became vibrant and aesthetic. Likewise, a festival that includes Buddha Jayanti and Losar falls in the spring. This makes the tour culturally enriching. The trail is crowded during this season.

Autumn (September-November)

The autumn season is perfect for exploring Nepal. During this season, the temperature is mild, the weather is comfortable, and the visibility is excellent. Days are warm, but nights are cooler as you gain altitude. After the monsoon season, the weather gets clear, and the crystal-clear visibility of the Himalayas, hills, and valleys makes it perfect for photography-loving travellers. Likewise, festivals that include Dashain and Tihar, the big festivals of Nepal, fall in this season. Travellers can participate in the local festival and enjoy the unique traditions of Nepal.

Monsoon (June-August)

The monsoon season could be better for the Jeep tour in Manang; however, the Manang Valley lies in the rain shadow. The sky is clear with sunny days, extended daylight, and an excellent view of the mountains in Summer. It doesn’t get much rain. The landscape becomes lush and green. However, landslides are more likely in summer. The roads are harsh then. So, summer is the worst season for the tour.

Winter (December-February)

The winter season is not considered for travelling in Manang. During this season, there is a high chance of snowfall, and travellers may face challenges. The roads can become icy. They can also become impassable, making travel arduous and risky. It makes the tour less popular. But it is suitable for those who are well-equipped and seek adventure.

Eating good food and sleeping in a comfortable bed are essential while travelling in Manang. Throughout the Jeep Tour in Manang, you’ll spend your night in a local lodge/hotel, where you’ll enjoy your dinner and breakfast. You’ll get authentic Nepali food options and some international cuisine, too. Also, travellers are recommended to enjoy the local street foods of Nepal, which are popular like momo, thukpa, some Newari cuisine and many others.

As you gain altitude, the food and accommodation become quite basic yet comfortable. You’ll spend your nights in local lodges/teahouses run by local families. They welcome you with open arms and serve you very nicely. The warm hospitality of the locals makes you feel very good and comfortable. You’ll sleep in a small bedroom that has a comfortable bed. You’ll get a private bathroom attached to your room, and some teahouses may have an outdoor bathroom that needs to be shared. First and best trekking experience in Annapurna

t was our first trekking experience in Nepal, and I am delighted that the journey was exceptional. As an experienced trekker, we chose a popular trekking point, Annapurna Base Camp. The famous trek with a reputable trekking agency, Boundless Adventure, was commendable.

The crew members of Boundless welcomed us at Tribhuvan International Airport with warm hospitality. From the start to the end of our journey, they cared for us and managed every logistics. The trek was cheerfulness. Everything was decidedly satisfying, from the drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara to Nayapul to the beginning of the trek. The smiling mountain range, simple villages and way of living, birds chirping, and fresh air were our companions after our friendly guide. We strongly recommend Boundless Adventure and ABC Trek.

Majestic beauty of Ghorepani Poon Hill

I heard a lot about the beauty of Nepal from many of my friends. Luckily, last October, I got to experience heaven with my two friends. One of my friends has already come to Nepal and has trekked through Boundless Adventure, and we also chose the same company for our journey. We planned an extended vacation but had to leave as soon as possible due to some issues. Mr.Dambar helped us a lot while selecting our package. After lots of discussions and going through information about each trekking destination, we chose to go for the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek. The Ghorepani Poon Hill is the best for people like us with limited time. The trek was a perfect mixture of little adventure and nature’s beauty. The early sunrise view and its ray on the summit of the mountain still satisfy my mind—a most recommended trekking destination and trekking agency, Boundless Adventure.

From the moment I inquired about the trek to the end of the trip, the team handled everything perfectly and professionally. Our guide was knowledgeable, professional, and well-versed in the history, culture, and geography of Upper Mustang.

The Upper Mustang region was breathtaking, and Boundless Adventure was amazing in customizing our itinerary to ensure we had plenty of time to explore the area. As there were five people in our group, the company gave us a group discount, which made their excellent service even more affordable. We are so thankful for their exceptional kindness and service at a reasonable cost.
