Trekking in the right season is a must. The right season offers stunning views of the Himalayas, green and colourful trails and the stunning beauty of nature. Generally, spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) are considered the best seasons for trekking in the Everest.
Both spring and autumn are the most loved seasons for trekking and exploring Nepal. Both of these seasons are widely popular for their clear visibility, warm and comfortable temperature, stunning visibility of the Himalayas and charming atmosphere. During the spring season, the whole environment became vibrant and colourful due to the bloom of rhododendron and some other wildflowers. After the monsoon season, the whole environment became crystal-clear and green, making it perfect for trekking in the high-altitude region of Nepal.
Whereas the monsoon and winter seasons are not recommended for trekking in Nepal. Both of these seasons are believed to be difficult seasons for trekking. The visibility is poor, and the road and trail are difficult to cross due to the slipperiness. Most of the trekkers reject this season for travelling in Nepal. Trekkers can enjoy dal bhat, momo, noodles, pasta, pizza, spaghetti, and other varieties of food. You’ll be sleeping in a private room with bathrooms. The hotel provides electricity, hot showers, internet, laundry, and many other modern amenities.
As you gain elevation, the food options and accommodations get very basic yet comforting. The food options are limited, but you’ll get a variety of food options. Try some authentic Sherpa cuisine too. You’ll get dal bhat, noodles, eggs, Tibetan bread, soup, fried rice, chowmein, momo, and some other available foods. Although they have limited options, the locals serve with love that makes the food tasty and comforting.
For accommodation, you’ll be staying in a local teahouse, which offers a comfortable bed in a warm room. The rooms are cozy and small, but you’ll get a comfortable bed for sleeping. In the room, you’ll get a bed, mattress, pillow, and blanket. We suggest you carry a sleeping bag. There are no such facilities as a private bathroom, a hot shower, laundry and internet.
Whether you stay in a local teahouse in a remote area or stay in a city area, the food is comforting, and the accommodations are comfortable.

An airplane is the most common way to reach Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. However, a helicopter flight to Lukla is a unique and thrilling experience. Helicopter flights take you quickly to Lukla airport, avoiding flight delays, and you don't need to wait long. Even if the weather conditions affect the flight, the helicopter flight still operates.
