The national park is also famous for its name, Royal National Park, home to over 700 species of wildlife and more than 525 species of birds. This exceptional national park is reachable from various parts of Nepal. One can visit Chitwan National Park through Kathmandu, Pokhara, or even Lumbini. However, we designed the itinerary by going through Kathmandu.

Travelers have various transportation options to reach Chitwan National Park. Travelers can choose a Bus, Car, or jeep if they want to go through ground transportation. If travelers wish for a quick option, an airway is also available. For air travel, trekkers can choose either an airplane or a helicopter.

You'll have a full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley on your second day. After finishing your morning meal, you'll prepare for the day's visit, as we'll pick you up from your Hotel. Your sightseeing begins with exploring Kathmandu Durbar Square, then to Swayambhunath and Boudhanath, and concludes the day with a visit to Pashupatinath temple.

Kathmandu Durbar Square sightseeing: Kathmandu Durbar Square is a famous tourist site on New Road, Kathmandu. Known as "the Museum of Temples," the site is a UNESCO World Heritage site in Nepal. During your visit to the Kathmandu Durbar, you can explore palaces, temples, and courtyards built in ancient times, featuring unique architecture. The highlight of the Kathmandu Durbar Square visit is Kumari Ghar, where the living goddess Kumari resides. You can also get inside the Kumari Ghar; however, Photography is not allowed. Furthermore, you will visit several temples and shrines in the area, as well as local markets.

Swayambhunath sightseeing: Swayambhunath, also called Monkey Temple, is your next visit destination after Kathmandu Durbar Square. The temple sits on a hilltop, where visitors can view the entire Kathmandu Valley. The dome-shaped Stupa with Buddha's eyes and a golden spire is the main attraction of visiting the Swayambhunath. You can explore these areas and gain insights into Buddhist practices and philosophy. Furthermore, you'll enjoy your lunch at the rooftop restaurant while enjoying the view of the Stupa.

Pashupatinath Temple Sightseeing:
Your Kathmandu sightseeing day concludes with a visit to the holiest Hindu temple, Pashupatinath. The Pashupatinath temple covers a large area, with each part featuring stunning architecture. Apart from the main temple, foreigners can visit the Pashupatinath temple's other premises. As you get to Pashupatinath in the evening, you can enjoy the aarti (ritual of worship with fire) that priests do at the Bagmati riverside every evening.

After the beautiful sightseeing day, we'll drop you off at your Hotel.

Drive to Chitwan National Park.

The third day takes you to your destination, Chitwan. You have different options for getting to Chitwan from Kathmandu. Bus, car, and Jeep are options if you want to use ground transportation. An airplane is an option if you prefer a quick, convenient option. If you prefer to use ground transportation, it takes 4-5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. If you choose to go by airplane, it takes 20 min to get to Bharatpur, and from there, you'll have a 45-minute car drive to your Hotel near Chitwan National Park.

Whether you go to Chitwan by ground transportation or by air, you'll pass through the diverse landscape of Nepal. You'll have your morning meal at your Hotel, lunch along the way (if you use ground transportation), dinner, and an overnight stay at your Chitwan Hotel.

Jungle explore and Tharu culture Program

The fourth day is exploring the Chitwan National Park and cultural immersion with the Tharu Communities. You'll have some activities on this day as well. Jungle Safari is the most common and famous activity in Chitwan National Park. You can go on a jungle safari by Jeep or elephant. Both ways, you'll encounter the unique flora and fauna of the national park up close.

Canoeing is another thrilling activity you'll get involved in on your fourth day. You'll have fun canoeing on the Rapti River and enjoying the sights along the way.

Then, you'll visit the Elephant breeding center, where you can closely see the baby to adult elephants. You can also click photos and feed elephants there.

In the evening, you'll walk around the Tharu villages. You'll also participate in the Tharu communities' unique dance and cultural program. Furthermore, you can try the local cuisines there.

After a pleasing day tour, you'll get to your Hotel for an overnight stay. We'll manage your breakfast, lunch, and dinner for this day.
