Every week, a new festival is celebrated throughout the nation.
Moreover, Nepalese Hindus love to celebrate. Dashain and Tihar are the major festivals of Nepal. However, some regional and communal festivals are popular as well. For example, the Newars of Kathmandu Valley celebrate festivals like Indra Jatra, Machhindranath Jatra, and colorful holy festivals.

Kathmandu Is The Capital Of Nepal.
There is a famous saying that Kathmandu has more temples than houses. Yes, this statement speaks volumes about the city’s aesthetics. In terms of district, Kathmandu is one district and the capital city of Nepal. However, it is inside a valley. The valley comprises three districts (Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur) rich in architecture, history, and culture. Newars are prominent people living in the place. The exciting thing about these people is that they are known for festive Patras (celebrations).
