There are 14 mountains with an altitude of over eight thousands meter. Out of these 14 mountains, eight are in Nepal. The northern border of Nepal is all about the Himalayan range. World-famous peak like Mt. Everest solidifies the country’s status as a rich Himalayan country. Apart from mountains, the country has another two geographical belts as well. Hilly and Terai (flatland) are the other two geographical belts. It is indeed an enticing experience to have different climates/geography in the space of 10 minutes of flight. Hills have valleys, terraced farmlands, deciduous forests, and lakes. Terai is also the granary of Nepal with subtropical forests and vast fertile land. The answer to the question “Where is Nepal?” is very easy if we talk about geography. The country is probably the only nation in the world where one can explore 60 meters altitude and 8848.86 m altitude in one single trip.
